About the role

  • Achieve measurable revenue growth by acquiring new customers and upselling solutions to existing clients.
  • Drive customer acquisition in Tanzania by identifying and targeting key sectors such as trade, logistics, and SMEs.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in payments, fintech, fx, or related industries; with focus on new business acquisition.
  • Strong local network and understanding of business practices in Tanzania and within the region.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and scaling successful sales teams in competitive markets.
  • Strong knowledge of the Tanzanian market, including economic trends and key business sectors, particularly as related to cross border payments.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools for pipeline management.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on building lasting customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
