• Lead the full lifecycle recruitment for a diverse range of roles, ensuring a streamlined, efficient, and compliant hiring process from initial sourcing through to successful onboarding.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to thoroughly define role requirements, build ideal candidate profiles, and develop targeted recruitment strategies across global talent markets.
• Implement sophisticated sourcing strategies to proactively identify and attract top-tier talent, expertly leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, regional job boards, and specialized networks.
• Leverage our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to efficiently manage all hiring workflows, maintain meticulous records, and ensure a seamless recruitment experience for all stakeholders.
• Significantly reduce time-to-hire by strategically streamlining recruitment processes, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks, and consistently delivering high-calibre candidates.
• Proactively build and nurture a robust talent pipeline to effectively support both current and anticipated future hiring needs.
• Provide expert guidance and training to hiring managers on best-practice interview techniques and comprehensive candidate assessment methods to elevate the overall quality of our hiring decisions.

Talent Acquisition Manager

General Counsel

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer terms and conditions, partner/aggregator contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Streamline day-to-day contracting processes to support revenue growth, ensuring legal execution keeps pace with a fast-moving fintech environment.
• Manage and coordinate external law firms for specialized support in contract drafting, tax, or broader corporate matters.
• Manage pre-action cases and debt management.
• Provide expert advice on the FCA regulatory framework applicable to EMIs, including the Electronic Money Regulations (EMRs), Payment Services Regulations (PSRs), and relevant FCA rules (PRIN, COND, CASS).
• Advise on safeguarding obligations for client funds to ensure Verto’s practices meet stringent regulatory requirements.
• Support the business as it enters new jurisdictions (e.g., EEA, US, UAE/DIFC, and East Africa), navigating multi-jurisdictional payments regulation.
• Act as a legal partner to the Product team, advising on the legal implications of new features, such as stablecoin on/off-ramping, API integrations, and FX products.
• Support UK GDPR compliance, managing data processing agreements and ensuring privacy-by-design in our product roadmap.

• Maintain a strong feedback loop with manager, and overall leadership team to ensure commercial contracts do not stall and legal risks are escalated appropriately.

Legal Counsel

Account Manager

• Lead and develop the team responsible for managing Verto's largest and most strategic accounts, ensuring deep understanding of each client's business, growth ambitions, and the critical role Verto plays in their operations.
• Build and own senior-level relationships with key decision-makers across Verto's most strategic accounts, acting as an executive sponsor and escalation point to protect and grow these partnerships.
• Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing Account Management team, instilling a proactive, commercial mindset and moving the team away from reactive support towards structured, strategic account ownership.
• Design and implement scalable account management processes that drive proactive engagement, early risk identification, and consistent value delivery across Verto's strategic account portfolio.
• Define and drive the strategic vision for how Verto manages and grows its largest accounts, setting clear standards for what great account management looks like.
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop the Account Management team, setting high performance expectations and creating clear career pathways that attract and retain top talent.
• Establish clear individual and team KPIs focused on retention, growth, proactive engagement, and account health, moving away from activity metrics towards outcome-driven performance management.
• Partner with senior leadership, Product, and Operations to ensure the Account Management function is aligned to business priorities and acts as a critical voice of the customer internally.
• Take indirect ownership of Verto's most strategic accounts, ensuring the team is delivering exceptional, proactive service rather than waiting for clients to raise issues.
• Introduce structured account planning across strategic accounts, including regular executive business reviews, relationship maps, success plans, and clear escalation frameworks.
• Directly identify and drive growth opportunities within the strategic account base, working closely with the team to spot expansion signals and converting them into revenue through disciplined account planning.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for critical account issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution while implementing processes that prevent recurring problems and reduce reactive firefighting.
• Own and drive net revenue retention and expansion targets across the strategic account portfolio, ensuring the team is consistently unlocking new value within existing relationships.
• Build a systematic approach to identifying and actioning cross-sell and upsell opportunities, ensuring the AM team is commercially engaged and not just operationally focused.
• Stay close to market trends, client industry dynamics, and competitor movements to anticipate risks to retention and position Verto's value proposition proactively.
• Champion the voice of Verto's most strategic clients internally, ensuring their feedback, challenges, and evolving needs directly influence product, pricing, and service decisions.
• Build structured feedback loops from strategic accounts into the business, translating client insight into actionable improvements across product, operations, and service delivery.
• Lead and standardise the cadence of executive business reviews across strategic accounts, ensuring these are strategic conversations about partnership value, not just operational check-ins.
• Design and embed new account management processes, playbooks, and tooling that shift the team from reactive to proactive, including account health scoring, engagement cadences, and risk flagging frameworks.
• Build clear, data-driven reporting on account health, team performance, and portfolio revenue trends, providing senior leadership with the visibility needed to make informed strategic decisions.
• Hold the team to high standards of CRM hygiene, pipeline accuracy, and account documentation, ensuring the business has full visibility into the status and health of all strategic accounts at all times.

Director of Account Management

Compliance

• Act as the primary regulatory liaison with the Central Bank, DFSA, and FIU, taking full responsibility for submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) via the goAML portal.
• Assess internal reports of unusual transactions, determine reasonable grounds for suspicion, and escalate matters to the UAE FIU in accordance with applicable legislation.
• Maintain, update, and enforce AML/CFT policies to ensure the robust implementation of KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and record-keeping procedures.
• Maintain and periodically update the company’s Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA), ensuring strict alignment with the UAE’s National Risk Assessment findings.
• Ensure the UAE entity remains strictly compliant with all licensing conditions imposed by the DFSA, CBUAE, and any other relevant UAE regulatory authorities.
• Act as the primary escalation point for compliance matters and advise senior management on the regulatory implications of new products, technologies, outsourcing, and cross-border activities.
• Ensure the timely and highly accurate submission of all required regulatory reports, notifications, returns, and the Annual MLRO Report to relevant authorities.
• Design and deliver targeted AML/CFT and compliance training for employees and Board members to embed a strong, organisation-wide compliance culture.
• Build, mentor, and oversee a competent local compliance team, ensuring their ongoing professional development and regulatory awareness.

MLRO, Compliance Officer

Analyst

• Payment liquidity/treasury management, to meet all daily settlement requirements.
• Ensuring we are able to deliver fast client settlement while meeting our daily customer funds safeguarding and partner credit line obligations.
• Oversee the recording treasury transactions to our internal systems.
• Sourcing, validating and sharing daily data requirements required for treasury funds and credit facilities.
• Reconciliation of treasury funds, ensuring funds are tracked and positions are kept in accordance credit facility terms and internal thresholds.
• Reconciliation and monitoring of daily OTC trading currency and trade positions.
• Management of customer FX trade settlements, ensuring late settled trades are followed up and closing positions where needed.
• Ensuring timely settlement of funds owed to customers for OTC transactions.
• Management of spot FX booking and controls, including booking cover positions and monitoring for any P&L variances or uncovered positions.
• Providing post-trade support for OTC customers and internal stakeholders. Primary internal stakeholders include the Trading Desk and Operations for daily liquidity and trade management and Finance for revenue reporting information and controls.
• Client credit position management, for daily advance settlement credit line requests.
• Providing management information and analysis for any OTC customer credit line requests and monitoring open credit exposure.
• Tracking daily currency exposure and positions, monitoring against any limits and our internal liquidity line usage.
