About the role
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities through research, cold calling, and outreach.
- Use effective questioning techniques to qualify leads based on their business needs and potential for success with Verto.
- Schedule and secure sales meetings for the sales team by engaging with decision-makers in targeted companies.
- Track and manage leads in the CRM system, ensuring no opportunity slips through the cracks.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on messaging, campaigns, and follow-up strategies.
- Build rapport with potential clients to create trust and lay the foundation for a successful sales process.
- Effectively use Hubspot, Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) to manage contacts, update activities, and monitor outreach effectiveness.
- Keep informed of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the prospecting process.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a sales development, inside sales, or customer service role (experience in B2B or fintech is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with potential clients via phone, email, and other channels.
- Results-driven and motivated by hitting targets and achieving goals.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales prospecting techniques.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand Verto’s product offerings and value propositions.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple prospects at once.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus, but not required.
