- Drive active development and implement RESTful APIs
- Build and test highly scalable web applications and cloud services
- Contribute to overall system architecture and prototype new ideas
- Collaborate with the team on development assignments
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in object-oriented languages
- Significant experience with NodeJS
- Knowledge of modern web application building libraries like Angular
- Working knowledge of developing scalable distributed cloud applications on AWS or other cloud platforms
- Strong skills in MySQL and relational databases
- Clear communication and articulation skills
- Experience with the MEAN/MERN stack (preferred)
- Experience with fintech industry (preferred)
- Worked in an early stage or growing stage start-up (preferred)
- Majority experience with product-based companies (preferred)
- Awareness of modern trends in distributed software application development (preferred)
- Experience with various development tools, including AWS Codebuild, git, npm, Visual Studio Code, Serverless framework, Swagger Specs, Flutter, AWS Lambda, MongoDB, Redis, SQS, and Kafka (preferred)
