About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the core relationship and ultimate success of assigned college and university partners
- Cultivate meaningful, trusting relationships with partner institutions
- Encourage partners to engage in enrollment initiatives, including direct university enrollment, co-led events, and participant transfer logistics
- Develop deep knowledge of partner programs and implement them to drive success
- Manage partner expectations, initiative logistics, and internal advocacy
- Recommend ways to improve partner satisfaction and address partner needs
- Work with Marketing, Enrollment, and Tech teams to create and implement personalized plans for assigned partners
- Educate and communicate with partner colleges about Verto outcomes, services, programs, and initiatives
- Address partner concerns, resolve issues, and improve processes
- Visit partner campuses and conduct annual strategic planning sessions
- Gather and share best practices for increasing student enrollment through higher-education admissions and enrollment processes
- Help partners embed their student application processes into Verto’s process
- Identify, diagnose, and help resolve student application issues
- Ensure successful onboarding of new assigned partners
- Monitor partner health, anticipate disengagement, and report to executive leaders
- Collaborate across Verto to meet partner needs efficiently
- Analyze segment trends through data reporting and dashboards and take action to maintain partner health
- Provide ongoing project management and training to partners
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency in English
- Ability to work remotely full-time
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- Must be based in the US and work within a time zone 1 hour ± those in the continental US (GMT -8 through GMT -3)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in customer relationship, account management, or customer success roles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, including investigating, analyzing information, and drawing conclusions
- Experience in higher education enrollment and admissions, EdTech, and/or technology startups strongly preferred
- Outstanding customer success skills and a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to foster positive, long-term relationships with customers, partners, and collaborators
- Experience collaborating with diverse professional teams
- Persuasive, goal-oriented, energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
- Project management experience; intermediate to advanced Asana skills preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Google Suite and Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently
- Legal right to work in the United States; visa sponsorship unavailable
