About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide first-level (L1) support to internal users, logging, classifying and resolving incidents and service requests.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 suite and corporate applications.
- Create, modify and remove users, groups and permissions in Active Directory and other identity management tools.
- Configure and support VPN access, Wi-Fi networks, mobile devices and connectivity resources.
- Perform installation procedures for company-approved software.
- Assist with technology asset maintenance and inventory.
- Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps and knowledge base updates.
- Escalate tickets to specialized teams when necessary and follow up until resolution and closure.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, focusing on service quality and user satisfaction.
- Comply with procedures, information security policies and IT governance best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams).
- Basic understanding of computer networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, DNS and DHCP).
- Basic skills in assembling and maintaining desktops and laptops.
- Good communication, organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and pursue professional development.
- Plus: previous experience in technical support, Help Desk or Service Desk, including internships or apprenticeship programs.
- Plus: basic knowledge of Active Directory.
- Plus: experience with ticketing systems (GLPI, Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk or similar).
