About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the construction and maintenance of data pipelines on the Databricks platform.
- Assist with integrating data from various sources (APIs, databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems).
- Perform basic data ingestion, transformation, and data quality activities.
- Support analysts in the creation and improvement of processes, dashboards, and data models.
- Help monitor routines and identify failures or inconsistencies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in IT, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
- Knowledge of SQL.
- Knowledge of Python for data manipulation.
- Willingness to learn about Databricks, data engineering, and DataOps best practices.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in the data field.
- Previous experience with Databricks or another data platform.
- Certifications: Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals, SQL, or Python.
- Knowledge of data modeling for BI.
- Experience working with data in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
