About the role

  • Lead and oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and market best practices
  • Coordinate accounting consolidation for corporate groups, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable legislation
  • Manage tax calculation and planning (direct and indirect taxes), focusing on tax efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Ensure timely delivery of regulatory filings to authorities such as the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) and the Federal Revenue Service (RFB)
  • Manage accounting routines related to securitization (financial and non-financial) and structured funds
  • Ensure the reliability of financial statements and management reports, supporting strategic decision-making
  • Conduct external audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring transparency and robustness of processes
  • Lead, develop and engage the accounting team, promoting high performance and collaboration
  • Drive the structuring and development of the accounting function, including processes and governance
  • Maintain relationships with internal areas, fund operations, accounting firms and auditors

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis) with active CRC (Regional Accounting Council registration)
  • Proven experience in senior accounting leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of consolidated accounting for corporate groups, financial instruments and international standards (IFRS)
  • Deep knowledge of tax legislation (direct and indirect) and financial sector regulatory requirements
  • Experience with audits and implementing internal controls
  • Experience with accounting and audit of structured funds, as well as managing outsourced accounting firms
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
  • Familiarity with systems, workflow tools and ERPs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders (internal teams, clients, auditors and partners)
  • Strategic and collaborative profile, with autonomy, proactivity and decision-making ability
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Accounting, Finance or Controllership is desirable but not required
  • Experience in complex environments with multiple legal entities and structured operations is desirable but not required
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) is desirable but not required
