About the role

  • Guide and oversee accounting firms in performing accounting routines, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations before authorities such as the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), and the Federal Revenue Service (RFB).
  • Work directly on the accounting routines of structured funds under management and administration.
  • Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of the funds' financial statements.
  • Support external audits and regulatory inspections, contributing to process transparency and robustness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with an active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council in Brazil).
  • Solid experience in investment funds accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting practices and international standards (IFRS).
  • Knowledge of tax legislation (direct and indirect taxes) and the regulatory environment of the financial sector.
  • Experience with audits, month-end/year-end closings, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office.
