About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead deals with health plan customers to achieve multi-year contracts
- Own critical relationships and opportunities with health plan leadership
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through personal prospecting and collaboration with internal teams
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
- Help shape Verse’s payor partnerships playbook and processes
- Design and sell innovative contract models
- Represent Verse at conferences and industry events
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7-10+ years of payor sales or business development experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and experience navigating C-suite to do so
- Strong independent accountability with excellent follow-through skills
- Ability to clearly communicate value propositions and differentiators in competitive, fast-paced environments
- Skilled at navigating complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to generate pipeline independently and consistently
- Willing to travel ~30% depending on sales cycle
