About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and execute day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, record-keeping, benefits administration, and policy compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR systems, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with developing and refining HR policies, templates, and standard operating procedures as the organization scales.
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process: job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer letters, and onboarding logistics with guidance from leadership.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR matters, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Assist in administering performance management cycles, including goal-setting templates, feedback tools, and evaluation tracking.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, technology, or startup environments.
- Foundational knowledge of talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, and HR compliance.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, including Colorado-specific regulations and OSHA basics relevant to construction environments.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across diverse teams from field crews and technicians to office staff and leadership.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where structure is still being built.
- Demonstrated experience, a proven work ethic, and a strong commitment to continuous learning—attributes that deliver results beyond traditional education (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field; (preferred).
