About the role
- Lead the Bank’s strategic direction, profitability and business development.
- Ensure the highest standards of governance, compliance and ethical conduct.
- Engage closely with regulators, the Board, senior leadership teams and external stakeholders.
- Full executive responsibility for the Bank’s strategy, performance, culture and regulatory compliance.
- Shape the future of a growing bank and influence strategy at Group level.
Requirements
- Extensive senior leadership experience within regulated banking or financial services.
- Previous approval under the UK SMCR (SMF1, SMF3 or SMF18) or equivalent, and a recognised UK professional banking qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Isle of Man and UK financial services markets, regulatory frameworks and supervisory bodies.
- Experience driving strategy, profitability and sustainable growth within a regulated environment.
- A proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams and foster a strong performance-driven culture.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to engage at Board and regulator level.
- High standards of integrity, judgement and accountability, operating to the highest governance and ethical standards.
