Serve as a trusted Business Partner to assigned departments, advising senior leaders, middle- and first-line managers on organizational effectiveness, change management, performance management, and compliance.
Drive the successful execution of the organization’s performance management program by supporting managers through continuous feedback and review cycles.
Coach and guide managers through complex employee relations issues, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring fairness and legal adherence.
Lead all internal investigations into alleged policy violations, harassment, discrimination, or legal misconduct.
Function as the company’s subject matter expert on federal and multi-state employment law (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and continually assess and update internal practices to mitigate legal risk.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
5+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience
Demonstrable expertise with a focus in multi-state employment law, internal investigations, and HR policy development
Prior experience executing or directly overseeing multi-state payroll and tax compliance functions is required
Proven ability to work in a lean, fast-paced team environment and manage competing priorities effectively
Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
