About the role
- Researching and reporting on the defense industry, security-policy issues and their economic impacts as part of the new Background Security & Defense team in cooperation with Handelsblatt
- Building and maintaining a strong network across politics, industry and trade associations
- Monitoring regulatory processes in Germany and the EU and assessing their relevance for the sector
- Developing in-depth analyses and exclusive stories
- Producing content not only in text but also in audio, video and live formats
Requirements
- Completed journalistic training or several years of professional experience in journalism
- Experience in reporting and a confident handling of complex topics
- High resilience and enjoyment of working in a dynamic environment
- Strong interest in security and industrial policy issues
- Multimedia mindset and working approach
