About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and organize execution initiatives across marketing tools, disciplines, and advanced sales skills
- Serve as a subject matter expert in business marketing disciplines, including Verizon Velocity Selling
- Teach, communicate with, and listen to frontline sales teams and business partners across channels
- Strategize, plan, and execute demand-generation and segment-specific programs to grow market share and revenue
- Create market- and city-specific messaging highlighting product and solution benefits
- Shape strategies, evaluate customer experience, and manage metrics and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Integrated Marketing and Field Marketing teams
- Guide teams on event training, customer promotions, and customized offerings
- Plan and facilitate internal and external engagements and meetings promoting marketing programs and objectives
- Develop customer-centered training curricula and knowledge-reinforcement strategies
- Promote national Market Hub marketing programs and tools to increase and track utilization
- Build relationships with customer-facing and partnership teams to improve utilization of marketing tools and offerings
- Manage local and national programs/projects from initiation through delivery
- Manage project requirements, resource allocation, local budgets, and marketing assets for ROI
- Update market and sales leaders on marketing initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience required through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Six or more years of experience in sales enablement, field marketing, or B2B/consumer go-to-market execution
- Experience designing and delivering sales training curricula, enablement tools, and customer presentation materials
- Experience managing cross-functional marketing campaigns, local events, and program budgets across national market hubs
- Consumer marketing expertise and ability to leverage insights for strategy and programs
- Experience planning and executing experiential events
- Strong project management skills
- Experience managing budgets and marketing assets
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least three days per week in the office
