About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical expertise for network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot network systems and applications in a 24x7 operations environment
  • Perform configuration changes and drive issues to resolution
  • Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain network systems and applications to improve system availability and performance
  • Evaluate network coverage, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and help implement recommendations
  • Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events
  • Generate, drive, and update problem-tracking tickets across multiple systems
  • Continuously improve business practices
  • Escalate issues to appropriate internal and external engineering teams for resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to operate a company vehicle throughout assigned territories
  • Experience navigating and working at all levels in a fast-paced, changing network environment
  • Dependability and willingness to support rotational technical environment needs
  • Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred
  • Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and technologies, including Telephony Switching, Data Communications, and Network Routers preferred
  • Experience with AI tools such as Gemini and Claude Code in a technical or professional setting preferred
  • Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations preferred
  • Vendor management experience preferred
