About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical expertise for network transformation, network outages, service issues, network optimization, and maintenance
Troubleshoot network systems and applications in a 24x7 operations environment
Perform configuration changes and drive issues to resolution
Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain network systems and applications to improve system availability and performance
Evaluate network coverage, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and help implement recommendations
Perform triage, fault isolation, and remediation of network events
Generate, drive, and update problem-tracking tickets across multiple systems
Continuously improve business practices
Escalate issues to appropriate internal and external engineering teams for resolution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience
Three or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
Valid driver's license
Willingness to operate a company vehicle throughout assigned territories
Experience navigating and working at all levels in a fast-paced, changing network environment
Dependability and willingness to support rotational technical environment needs
Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred
Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and technologies, including Telephony Switching, Data Communications, and Network Routers preferred
Experience with AI tools such as Gemini and Claude Code in a technical or professional setting preferred
Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware and configurations preferred
Vendor management experience preferred
