About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale cybersecurity and vulnerability datasets
  • Ingest, transform, and normalize data from external vendor platforms through REST, GraphQL, webhook, and other APIs
  • Design data models, interactive dashboards, and reports for executive and technical audiences
  • Implement baseline security controls and secure coding practices across data integrations and analytical web applications
  • Translate leadership requirements into actionable data products and executive presentations
  • Prioritize tasks, manage workloads, and participate in Agile delivery workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform stakeholder needs into technical architectures
  • Perform deep data exploration and develop cybersecurity analytics solutions using AI/LLM, predictive analytics, vector embeddings, and RAG architectures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience, including work, military experience, or specialized training
  • Four or more years of experience with Python or similar object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++
  • Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines using SSIS, Apache Airflow, Talend, Alteryx, or custom Python orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale enterprise datasets
  • Experience with SQL or similar technologies, including T-SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with vendor APIs, pagination, error handling, and payload ingestion
  • Understanding of data modeling in Looker, Tableau, SSRS, or Splunk
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, especially presentation tools
  • Understanding of application security and secure coding principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate on team projects
  • Experience with AI/LLM data tools and predictive analytics
  • Experience with cloud analytical platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS Redshift
  • Experience with vector embeddings or RAG architectures for cybersecurity analytics
  • Experience translating executive stakeholder requests into technical deliverables and presenting findings to non-technical leadership
  • Experience building analytical web applications or front-end dashboards using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern frameworks
  • Experience extracting and transforming data via APIs from security platforms such as Tenable, CrowdStrike, Armis, Axonius, Shodan, BitSight, Flexera, ServiceDesk, ServiceNow, or JIRA
  • Experience analyzing enterprise-scale telecommunications or cybersecurity data formats
  • Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts, including CVEs, zero-day vulnerabilities, and remediation workflows
  • Experience with Agile management platforms such as Jira, Smartsheet, or Asana
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, or GitLab
  • Strong work ethic, initiative, time-management, and prioritization skills
