About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Verizon's Compensation Enablement team and its initiatives and programs
  • Guide the evolution of commission and reward structures from concept through financial ROI modeling
  • Analyze commission, financial, and operational data to evaluate program performance
  • Translate metrics into narratives and strategic insights for leadership decision-making
  • Lead complex projects from concept through execution and enterprise rollout
  • Drive alignment across finance, sales operations, and executive stakeholders
  • Leverage data and AI to remove manual friction and transform processes into scalable operations
  • Direct governance of internal sales inquiries to maintain uniform enterprise operations
  • Create high-level visual presentations and manage critical deliverables for decision-makers
  • Monitor operational output, distribution costs, and KPIs to maintain scalable and financially sound programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required through work, military experience, or specialized training
  • Two or more years of hands-on experience in Commissions, Sales Operations, Project Management, or Finance
  • Experience extracting, mining, and analyzing data to evaluate program performance
  • Experience translating complex financial and operational data into strategic insights
  • Experience leading complex projects from concept through execution and rollout
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (even better)
  • Proven ability to take smart risks and implement innovative strategies
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise sales compensation structures, commission mechanics, and incentive design
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and building consensus
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and visual storytelling skills using data
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detail-oriented project execution
