About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support SEM functions across multiple Verizon brand units
  • Develop campaigns, advance bid strategies, and manage the channel
  • Assist relationships with external search partners, including new and existing partners
  • Execute SEM campaigns
  • Develop and deploy an AI strategy using knowledge of AI and large language models to connect consumers to commerce outcomes
  • Collaborate with paid search leadership to execute search strategies
  • Contribute to creative development and day-to-day paid search operations
  • Apply a holistic approach to SEM, SEO, and GEO
  • Support optimization-focused search technologies and evolving search strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
  • Marketer, agency, or consultative services experience in SEM
  • Experience with and knowledge of Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Bing, Performance Max, Text Ads, and Shopping engines
  • Experience in search analysis and reporting
  • Analytical skills in developing marketing reports that improve SEM performance efficiencies
  • Data visualization experience
  • Fluency in data-driven targeting and revenue-driving strategy
  • Openness to exploring new search strategy methods as consumer behavior adapts
  • Knowledge of AI and large language models
  • Exceptional communication skills
