About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support SEM functions across multiple Verizon brand units
- Develop campaigns, advance bid strategies, and manage the paid search channel
- Assist relationships with external search partners, including new and existing partners
- Execute SEM campaigns
- Develop and deploy an AI strategy using knowledge of AI and large language models to connect consumers to commerce outcomes
- Support paid search strategic implementation, creative development, and day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with paid search leadership to execute search strategies
- Participate in relationships with optimization-focused technologies
- Apply a holistic perspective across SEM, SEO, and GEO
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work and/or military experience or specialized training
- Marketer, agency, or consultative services experience in SEM
- Experience with primary buying platforms and formats including Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Bing, Performance Max, Text Ads, and Shopping engines
- Experience in search analysis and reporting
- Analytical skills for developing marketing reports that improve SEM performance efficiencies
- Exceptional communication skills
- Data visualization experience
- Fluency in data-driven targeting and revenue-driving strategy
- Willingness to explore new search strategy methods as consumer behavior adapts
- Knowledge of AI and large language models
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with at least three days per week in the office
