About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

manage a variety of internal and external partners and vendors
oversee OSP/ISP construction and maintenance of network extension projects
ensure projects delivered on time, to specifications, and within budget
managing all engineering and construction activities
leading engineering efforts on multiple projects
engaging appropriate internal and external organizations
proposing solutions supported by sound engineering and operational productivity
analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule
recognizing vulnerabilities in network infrastructure
preparing detailed cost analysis, project specifications, spend forecasts
processing reports, vendor invoices, material receipts
performing field meetings, inspection of construction in progress
communicating project status and progress to team members and customers
responding immediately to network outages

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience
Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
Valid Driver's license
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields (even better)
Experience in CAD, 3GIS, ARCGIS, Google Earth or other mapping and drafting software (even better)
Experience in using Google Workspace suite, including tools such as Drive, Gmail, Meet, Docs, Sheets, and Slides (even better)
Experience in corporate data and reporting platforms (Tableau, Cheetah, or others) (even better)
