About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • manage a variety of internal and external partners and vendors
  • oversee OSP/ISP construction and maintenance of network extension projects
  • ensure projects delivered on time, to specifications, and within budget
  • managing all engineering and construction activities
  • leading engineering efforts on multiple projects
  • engaging appropriate internal and external organizations
  • proposing solutions supported by sound engineering and operational productivity
  • analyzing implications of changes from the original schedule
  • recognizing vulnerabilities in network infrastructure
  • preparing detailed cost analysis, project specifications, spend forecasts
  • processing reports, vendor invoices, material receipts
  • performing field meetings, inspection of construction in progress
  • communicating project status and progress to team members and customers
  • responding immediately to network outages

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience
  • Three or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields (even better)
  • Experience in CAD, 3GIS, ARCGIS, Google Earth or other mapping and drafting software (even better)
  • Experience in using Google Workspace suite, including tools such as Drive, Gmail, Meet, Docs, Sheets, and Slides (even better)
  • Experience in corporate data and reporting platforms (Tableau, Cheetah, or others) (even better)
