About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting daily operations, including internal/external stakeholder engagement
  • Executing on the transition to hybrid-cloud environments by implementing fault-tolerant failover strategies
  • Identifying and solving for technology gaps in the design, architecture, and implementation of appropriate security solutions
  • Driving continuous improvement of network visibility and telemetry collection
  • Building and refining playbooks and response runbooks
  • Supporting regular security control assessments validating configuration effectiveness
  • Promoting an environment of collaboration and individual accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Two or more years of experience engineering and managing high-availability network services, including Linux administration, DNS management (Infoblox, IPControl, BIND)
  • Two or more years of hands-on experience utilizing Python and Bash scripting to automate network administration
  • Expert in leading end-to-end digital transformations and hybrid-cloud connectivity (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks
  • Industry Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCIE Security, CCE-N, or equivalent expert-level cloud networking credentials.
