About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Focus on Enterprise Access and help drive the discovery and identity of all network assets
- Apply existing routing, switching, security and network architecture knowledge to safeguard network assets
- Continuous monitoring and proactive threat detections
- Improve security hygiene by implementing Network Security Fundamentals (Access Management, Situational Awareness, Configuration Hardening, Vulnerability)
- Discover, identify, and audit inventory of all network assets
- Assess the impact of vulnerabilities and identify End-of-Life/End-of-Support hardware/software
- Develop a baseline of normal operations and implement threat detections to alert of deviations
- Lead daily operations in network security including running scans, monitoring and creating dashboards
- Develop incident response protocols
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of relevant work experience
- Three or more years of relevant work experience, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training
- Experience with networks, 4G/5G wireless network functions or virtualization technologies like Openstack and Kubernetes
- Experience with Bash Shell scripting, Python or relevant scripting and automation knowledge
- Experience configuring and managing Routers, Switches and Firewalls
- Experience with Splunk or other data analysis tools
- Experience with multi vendor platforms and network architectures
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions
- Knowledge of technical product and systems development lifecycle
- Proven track record of managing and delivering results
- Effective written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
