About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the success of a portfolio in public sector and government contract accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with clients ranging from local law enforcement and emergency services to municipal utilities and school districts.
- Delight customers by driving greater business value, ensuring platform adoption and maintaining open communication.
- Work closely with a cross-functional network to protect revenue and mitigate risk.
- Empower clients to derive maximum value from their investment in Verizon Connect platform.
- Structure regular, high-impact touchpoints across business to understand client challenges.
- Actively collaborate with Sales, Support, and Premier Success peers to deliver seamless client experience.
- Skilfully defuse challenging escalations and collaborate with specialized teams.
- Confidently communicate with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Partner with internal product and operations teams to share customer insights.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree or one or more years of equivalent client-facing work experience.
- Experience in customer success, account management, or a specialized technical customer support function.
- Experience supporting public sector, government, or highly regulated enterprise accounts (e.g., GSA/Sourcewell frameworks).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative mindset focused on cross-functional partnership.
- Bachelor’s degree with two or more years of equivalent client-facing work experience (even better).
- Experience dealing with SaaS platforms, fleet safety, telematics, or data-driven software solutions (even better).
- Experience navigating complex contract renewals or billing and revenue resolution pathways (even better).
- Proven track record of operating successfully in a hybrid environment (even better).
