About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a proactive scout for the network, reviewing NMC tickets, alarming data, and existing automations to spot trends and identify new opportunities for innovation.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis into various systems to evaluate the performance of current workflows and determine their business impact.
- Synthesize information into a cohesive picture that enables the team to improve the network through strategic automation.
- Stay in sync with the broader US-based team to ensure all automation efforts align with current operational needs.
- Focus on implementing and maintaining automation to minimize and eliminate manual processes and enhance proactive solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
- Foundational Python knowledge or significant experience in Network Automation.
- Proven experience with data analysis, specifically the ability to identify trends within complex datasets.
- Experience or the ability to quickly gain proficiency in ticketing and notification systems such as vRepair, Remedy, UTP, and Echo.
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes overlap with US day shift (specifically for weekly staff meetings and initial training).
- Solid troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and adapt.
