About the role
- Managing and optimizing our AWS cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Developing and maintaining Docker containers and Kubernetes (EKS) deployments
- Implementing and managing Helm charts for application deployments
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps principles
- Implementing and maintaining automated security scanning processes throughout the CI/CD pipeline
- Contributing to the improvement of SRE practices and system reliability
- Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Collaborating with development teams to improve application deployment and operational efficiency
- Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Splunk,Grafana & Prometheus
- Managing and operating distributed database clusters including Apache Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Redis Cluster.
- Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience required
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
- Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform and CloudFormation
- Strong Linux and shell scripting skills
- Strong experience as a DevOps engineer with AWS services and best practices
- Proficiency in containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python and Go
- Experience with security scanning tools and practices, such as SonarQube for code analysis
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and practices
- Familiarity with SSO implementation and management
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
