About the role

  • Managing and optimizing our AWS cloud and on-premise infrastructure
  • Developing and maintaining Docker containers and Kubernetes (EKS) deployments
  • Implementing and managing Helm charts for application deployments
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps principles
  • Implementing and maintaining automated security scanning processes throughout the CI/CD pipeline
  • Contributing to the improvement of SRE practices and system reliability
  • Implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Collaborating with development teams to improve application deployment and operational efficiency
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Splunk,Grafana & Prometheus
  • Managing and operating distributed database clusters including Apache Cassandra, RabbitMQ, Redis Cluster.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Experience with Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools, specifically Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Strong Linux and shell scripting skills
  • Strong experience as a DevOps engineer with AWS services and best practices
  • Proficiency in containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, preferably Python and Go
  • Experience with security scanning tools and practices, such as SonarQube for code analysis
  • Familiarity with GitOps principles and practices
  • Familiarity with SSO implementation and management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
