About the role
- Serves as the primary technical architect and strategic partner in the Employee Experience organization
- Responsible for the technical vision and system design of the global compensation product stack
- Translate Board-level compensation product functions into robust, automated technical roadmaps
- Partner with the HR Compensation teams to align technical architecture with business outcomes
- Provide architectural oversight for "Emerging Platforms" ensuring they meet long-term enterprise goals
- Architect advanced automation solutions using Workday Extend and Studio
- Lead the strategy for PeopleSoft Advanced Compensation modules
- Guarantee data integrity and parity during the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms
- Design and optimize high-throughput engines for Sales Compensation and Associate Compensation
- Mentor senior engineering staff and drive a culture of architectural excellence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
- Six or more years of relevant experience required
- Demonstrated success in managing high-stakes migrations between ERP giants (e.g., PeopleSoft to Workday)
- Experience supporting Board-level initiatives and translating executive philosophy into technical outcomes
- Knowledge of Workday (Extend, Studio, Core HCM) and PeopleSoft (Advanced Comp, North American Payroll)
- Proven experience in system design for large-scale financial or HR platforms
- Expertise in automating complex business workflows to remove manual intervention
- Ability to speak the language of 'Business Outcomes' rather than just 'Technical Inputs'
