About the role

  • Serves as the primary technical architect and strategic partner in the Employee Experience organization
  • Responsible for the technical vision and system design of the global compensation product stack
  • Translate Board-level compensation product functions into robust, automated technical roadmaps
  • Partner with the HR Compensation teams to align technical architecture with business outcomes
  • Provide architectural oversight for "Emerging Platforms" ensuring they meet long-term enterprise goals
  • Architect advanced automation solutions using Workday Extend and Studio
  • Lead the strategy for PeopleSoft Advanced Compensation modules
  • Guarantee data integrity and parity during the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms
  • Design and optimize high-throughput engines for Sales Compensation and Associate Compensation
  • Mentor senior engineering staff and drive a culture of architectural excellence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-stakes migrations between ERP giants (e.g., PeopleSoft to Workday)
  • Experience supporting Board-level initiatives and translating executive philosophy into technical outcomes
  • Knowledge of Workday (Extend, Studio, Core HCM) and PeopleSoft (Advanced Comp, North American Payroll)
  • Proven experience in system design for large-scale financial or HR platforms
  • Expertise in automating complex business workflows to remove manual intervention
  • Ability to speak the language of 'Business Outcomes' rather than just 'Technical Inputs'
