About the role

  • Provides support for implementing processes and layouts for complex, large-scale data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.
  • Supports the building of large and complex data sets from spurious sources while thinking strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design.
  • Provides support to generate hypotheses and create analytical models that answer impactful business questions.
  • Meet with the business clients to gather solutions requests and data requirements to provide feedback to the data science team.
  • Implement processes and layouts as instructed by the data science team for complex data sets used for modeling, data mining, and research purposes.
  • Build and implement data sets as instructed by the data science team, updating and making adjustments where necessary.
  • Implement statistical data quality procedures around new data sources.
  • Perform data validation tests and updating procedures to ensure models are successfully implemented.
  • Create reports and visualizations based on the results of the models to share with the business clients.
  • Monitor the developed data models and systems, identifying any possible issues that need to be resolved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Data management, analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in Looker & Qlik or similar visual analysis tool, optimization, analytics and large data sets, project management, developing visually compelling interactive dashboards.
  • Experience as a data scientist, analyst, or statistical modeler.
  • Experience with programming language SQL.
