About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide first-level technical support to employees, delivering both on-site and remote assistance;
  • Configure, install and maintain desktop computers, laptops, peripherals and mobile devices;
  • Prepare and provision equipment kits for new hires, ensuring all resources are configured and ready for use;
  • Support IT asset inventory management, keeping equipment organized and tracked;
  • Assist with installation and configuration of software, corporate systems and tools used by the company;
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and collecting equipment;
  • Perform initial diagnostics and resolve incidents related to hardware, software, network and peripherals;
  • Log, follow up and update technical tickets, keeping documentation of performed activities;
  • Follow procedures and standards established by the Information Technology department;
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining Information Security best practices, supporting enforcement of corporate policies, configuring basic security controls on devices, advising employees on secure use of IT resources and identifying non-conformities that may pose risks to the technology environment;
  • Contribute suggestions for improvements to internal IT team processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Networks, Computer Engineering or related fields;
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365;
  • Basic knowledge of hardware, computer networks and equipment maintenance;
  • Good communication skills, organization and a willingness to learn;
  • Comfortable working in a team and supporting users;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID;
  • Knowledge of Active Directory;
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and printer configuration;
  • Previous experience in technical support or user support (including academic projects or internships);
  • Knowledge of IT asset management and inventory.
