About the role
- Act as a technical leader with strong ownership in execution, actively participating in solution construction, architectural decisions, and delivery support.
- Serve in a consultative role for pre-sales and assessments, with a hands-on focus—helping to unblock technical issues and ensure delivery quality.
- Contribute to the evolution of engineering practices and adoption of new approaches (including AI), always focusing on efficiency and outcomes.
- Act as the technical lead on strategic initiatives, participating actively in development and technical decision-making.
- Support the creation of technical proposals and solution definitions for clients.
- Define pragmatic architectural directions, ensuring feasibility and simplicity.
- Assess technical risks, complexity, and solution impacts.
- Conduct or support technology assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Work directly on resolving critical technical issues (hands-on).
- Support teams in day-to-day technical matters, promoting best practices without adding bureaucracy.
- Participate in client meetings, able to justify technical decisions.
- Encourage the use of modern tools (including AI) to improve development productivity.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a developer with progression into technical leadership or senior reference role.
- Experience with Java and/or C#.
- Hands-on profile, able to work directly in code when necessary.
- Experience in projects across different technology contexts.
- Knowledge of application architecture, integrations, and APIs.
- Experience with cloud (general concepts) and engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and software quality.
- Ability to evaluate technical scenarios and propose viable, pragmatic solutions.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with teams and clients.
- Ability to translate technical topics into business impact.
- Prior experience with solution architecture or system modernization.
- Experience in technical pre-sales or proposal development.
- Experience with different stacks and cloud environments.
- Exposure to using AI in development (e.g., copilots, automations, etc.).
- Acted as a technical reference in teams or projects.
- Experience with complex integrations or distributed systems.
