About the role
- We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative for data architecture modernization and systems evolution.
- The challenge involves building a new, highly integrated ecosystem while transitioning from legacy systems, dealing with large volumes of data, limited documentation, and multiple dependencies across teams and platforms.
- This role will play a central part in driving the project, with strong autonomy, business acumen, and responsibility for the quality, stability, and success of production deliveries.
- Beyond project management, we expect someone capable of structuring solutions, connecting workflows, and taking a leading role in the product’s evolution.
- Lead the project end-to-end, ensuring continuous product evolution and high-quality deliveries.
- Drive the evolution of architecture and business workflows, focusing on decoupling legacy systems and avoiding replication of existing limitations.
- Own end-to-end understanding of business workflows, connecting data, integrations, and operational impacts across areas.
- Conduct discovery and mapping of data, flows, and integrations, often based on undocumented knowledge.
- Maintain a systemic view of the ecosystem, assessing impacts across systems and involved areas.
- Coordinate feature rollouts, monitoring production releases, stability, adoption, and directing fixes and improvements.
- Manage incidents and deviations during rollouts.
- Guide the team in prioritizing and executing work (both new development and maintenance).
- Drive project cadence (dailies, ceremonies, checkpoints, and stakeholder forums), ensuring clarity on next steps and continuous alignment.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business areas, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
- Ensure data, workflow, and process quality.
- Support solution design with a future-oriented perspective, avoiding replication of legacy limitations.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of the product alongside leadership.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Project Manager / Delivery Manager in complex environments
- Experience with data projects, integrations, or systems modernization
- Ability to operate in scenarios with limited documentation and high discovery needs
- Strong systemic view and understanding of cross-system impact
- Experience with product rollouts and incident management
- Experience going beyond traditional project management, actively participating in solution definition, workflows, and integrations
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business teams
- Hands-on profile with autonomy and decision-making capability
- Experience decommissioning legacy systems
- Background with data platforms or data architecture
- Experience in regulated environments
- Knowledge of data-driven products
- Ability to challenge existing solutions and propose structural improvements
- Proactive, ownership-oriented profile with accountability for problems and deliveries
- High autonomy and decision-making capacity
- Critical thinking to question and evolve solutions, not just execute
- Ability to structure approaches in poorly defined scenarios
