- Handling employment law issues across various states
- Experience resolving complex employee relations issues or investigations
- Methods for staying ahead of regulatory changes and updating internal policies
- Aligning legal strategy with business objectives
- Advising on union prevention or labor relations matters
- Experience with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
- Communicating legal risk and strategy to C-level executives
- Proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks
- Balancing legal oversight with enabling business growth
- Interest in working in the veterinary or healthcare space
