- Provide legal expertise to support specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals

Requirements
- Experience in negotiating vendor contracts in a multi-state healthcare or veterinary setting
- Knowledge of state-specific regulations for contracts
- Management of revisions and updates to employment agreements, NDAs, and service contracts
- Handling employment law issues across various states
- Experience resolving complex employee relations issues or investigations
- Methods for staying ahead of regulatory changes and updating internal policies
- Aligning legal strategy with business objectives
- Advising on union prevention or labor relations matters
- Experience with audit preparation and compliance initiatives
- Communicating legal risk and strategy to C-level executives
- Proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks
- Balancing legal oversight with enabling business growth
- Interest in working in the veterinary or healthcare space
- Contribution to a collaborative, values-driven culture while maintaining legal integrity
- Belief in the most important quality for in-house counsel in a mission-driven organization.
