About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Retain in-depth knowledge of Verisk Rating and ERC Rating offerings
Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures for insurance manual updates within ERC
Identify and report defects and issues to the development team and track them through resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality features efficiently
Use API technology and API requests
Troubleshoot issues, solve problems, and identify potential process improvements
Provide production support by answering questions about the ERC product offering
Work independently and within a team environment
Work with management to develop performance-based measurements and complete defined responsibilities
Complete responsibilities outlined in the annual Performance Plan

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA or equivalent
Detail-oriented and solutions-driven QA professional with technical skills and strategic thinking
Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis
Competency with development environments and insurance software products is a plus
Experience triaging and prioritizing defects and collaborating with developers on resolution
Commercial lines admitted business experience
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Polished communication, presentation, and leadership qualities
