About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handles Verisk’s legislative and regulatory monitoring of federal activities.
- Analyze legislation and regulations for impact on Verisk operations.
- Work with Verisk staff to respond to newly enacted statutory and regulatory changes.
- Use and integrate generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools into workflow.
- Research and prepare technical material for senior management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in either P&C insurance or Government Relations work.
- Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Willing and eager to learn about and apply skills in new industries.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of GenAI and proficiency in using GenAI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Completion of at least 4 CPCU exams (or CPCU designation) a plus.
