About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Handles Verisk’s legislative and regulatory monitoring of federal activities.
Analyze legislation and regulations for impact on Verisk operations.
Work with Verisk staff to respond to newly enacted statutory and regulatory changes.
Use and integrate generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools into workflow.
Research and prepare technical material for senior management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
At least 2 - 4 years’ experience in either P&C insurance or Government Relations work.
Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willing and eager to learn about and apply skills in new industries.
Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal staff and external stakeholders.
Ability to work independently on multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of GenAI and proficiency in using GenAI.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
Completion of at least 4 CPCU exams (or CPCU designation) a plus.
