About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and deliver scalable full stack solutions, including APIs, microservices, and micro frontends
- Own end-to-end development from design through deployment ensuring performance, reliability, and code quality
- Develop platform features, enhancements, and integrations within P&C policy administration systems
- Collaborate with product, business, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to architecture and modernization efforts using cloud, microservices, and integration patterns
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices across distributed teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-7+ years of experience building large-scale enterprise applications
- Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge
- Hands-on experience with Policy Administration systems (e.g., Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco)
- Full stack development experience across backend and frontend systems
- Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Java, or similar technologies
- Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, React or Angular, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Postgres
- Solid understanding of microservices, micro frontends, SOA, and integration patterns
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems and external P&C data providers
- Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience across underwriting, rating, billing, claims, or document/forms workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, observability, or infrastructure as code
- Soft Skills & Attributes: Builder/doer mentality with an ownership-driven approach
- Clear, effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and influence decisions
- Collaborative leader comfortable working across distributed teams.
