About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flows.
  • Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support data analysis activities using Excel, SQL, or other reporting tools to generate meaningful business insights.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in creating process maps, workflow diagrams, and functional specifications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business requirements, and coordinate issue resolution.
  • Maintain project documentation using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Communicate project updates and requirement clarifications effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with change management activities, including documentation, user communication, and training support.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
  • Exposure to the Insurance, Financial Services, or Technology domain is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic SQL for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of requirement gathering techniques and documentation.
  • Knowledge of process mapping tools such as Visio, Draw.io, or BPMN is preferred.
  • Exposure to reporting or visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau) is a plus but not mandatory.
