About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ability to retain in depth knowledge of Verisk Rating and ERC Rating offerings**
  • Developing and implementing testing strategies, plans, and procedures for insurance manual updates for supported lines within ERC**
  • Identifying and reporting defects and issues to the development team and tracking them through to resolution.**
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that help deliver quality features with efficiency.**
  • Knowledge of API technology and API requests**
  • Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement**
  • Production support for answering questions around ERC product offering**
  • Ability to work independently and within Team environment **
  • Work with management to develop performance basis measurements and complete all defined responsibilities**
  • Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA or equivalent **
  • Detail-oriented and solutions-driven QA professional with a mix of technical skills and strategic thinking.**
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, using its advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, data analysis) to organize, analyze, and visualize test data efficiently.**
  • Technical skills which include competency with development environments and insurance software products would be a plus.**
  • Excel in defect management by triaging, prioritizing, and collaborating with developers for timely issue resolution.**
  • Commercial lines admitted business experience **
  • Highly motivated self-starter, with strong analytical, inter-personal and leadership skills **
  • Polished communication, presentation, and leaderships qualities
