About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the identification of cost optimization opportunities in the cloud under senior guidance.
Assist in cloud cost management and optimization initiatives.
Learn and support existing FinOps practices for AWS and Azure.
Participate in development of FinOps practices and contribute to team initiatives.
Support ongoing development of a self-service environment for cloud cost transparency.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or systems support.
Basic understanding of CPU, memory, and performance metrics.
SQL experience to parse datasets from the CUR files.
Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn how they apply to cloud optimization.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
AWS cloud experience preferred.
AWS or cloud computing certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner) preferred.
Python or other programming language experience preferred.
