About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and maintain automation, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for fast software delivery.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, operations, and security teams to improve developer experience.
  • Ensure systems are scalable, stable, and observable.
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Ansible.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Good understanding of networking, security, and Linux or Windows systems.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with service mesh, API gateways, or ingress controllers.
  • Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of SRE principles such as SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.
  • Experience with cloud cost optimisation (FinOps).
  • Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
