Requirements
- 4-7 years of frontend development experience, with strong React and Next.js foundations
- Next.js expertise—understand App Router vs Pages Router, server components, streaming, and when to use each approach
- TypeScript proficiency—write type-safe code and understand how TypeScript improves maintainability
- React fundamentals—know when to reach for context vs props, understand rendering behavior, and can optimize performance when needed
- RTK Query experience—comfortable with data fetching, caching strategies, and managing server state efficiently
- Node.js experience—work with API routes, understand backend concepts, and collaborate effectively with backend developers
- Component thinking—break down UI into reusable, composable pieces
- Active AI experimentation—using AI assistants in workflow
- Problem-solving mindset—see frontend development as solving user problems
- Communication clarity—discuss trade-offs and technical decisions with stakeholders
