About the role
- Develop high quality, visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau, focused on commercial insurance data and market insights.
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand customer requirements, gather feedback, and ensure dashboards meet evolving business needs.
- Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to understand the backend data architecture, data sources, transformations, and business logic.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to extract and prepare data for reporting and analytics use cases.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across dashboards and BI assets.
- Translate complex datasets into easy to understand visual stories and offer analytical insights to internal and external users.
- Contribute to documentation, data dictionaries, and best practices for dashboard development and data governance.
Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in BI, analytics, data analysis, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau, including dashboard design, data blending, and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of relational data models and experience working with SQL relational databases, including writing moderately complex queries.
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly customer-facing or client success groups.

- Experience with ThoughtSpot.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Knowledge of Python for data transformation or automation.
- Experience with JavaScript for analytics customization or embedding dashboards.
- Exposure to Pentaho or other ETL tools.
- Background or familiarity with commercial insurance data or economic analytics.
