About the role

  • Assist in the refactoring and re-platforming of various industry standard products
  • Enhance the Excess and Reinsurance pricing tools
  • Demonstrate statistical, actuarial, and business value to stakeholders
  • Update, research, and deploy products
  • Collaborate with E&R team and various other teams across the organization to support the products

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required
  • A strong academic background in Statistics/Applied Mathematics is required (mixed exponential distributions etc.)
  • At least 2 years of work experience, especially related to Statistics/Applied Mathematics/Analytical Research
  • Strong Excel skills are required, along with the ability to learn programming languages. Prior experience with R, Python and/or SAS are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective summarization skills
  • Detail-oriented technical aptitude with strong logical, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent organization/planning skills
  • Willingness to work as a full-time employee from Cracow city-center based office in a hybrid model.
