Support a broad range of HR operations and corporate activities including recruiting, learning, employee onboarding, immigration, employee records management, payroll back-up support and other staffing related transactions
Function as first point of contact for general HR queries and provide administrative support on a variety of HR related services and activities
Maintain HR databases and other employee digital and paper records while ensuring data integrity, privacy, and consistency
Conduct new employee orientation sessions and manage onboarding / offboarding processes
Provide administrative support for talent acquisition, immigration & compliance and learning & development
Administer recognition programs; prepare and process confidential correspondence, documents, and general reports
Participate in HR projects and initiatives
16-month temporary contract supporting Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division based in Calgary, AB
Requirements
Minimum 4 - 6 years of HR administration and/or combined general administration experience
Proficient in HR software such as HRIS or HRMS
Experience in ADP Workforce Now
Intermediate to advance working knowledge of Excel
Some related post-secondary education
Outstanding customer service focus
Ability to manage confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and frequent interruptions, while prioritizing workload effectively
Positive outlook with a willingness to work out of scope
Nice-to-Have: Experience with applicant tracking and time management system
