About the role
- Support a Lead Engineer in building an AWS-based platform
- Automate provisioning, management, and governance of AWS accounts
- Contribute directly to feature development, automation workflows, platform reliability
- Execute high-quality engineering work with minimal oversight
- Enhance automation workflows and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Collaborate with Lead Engineer on design decisions and testing
Requirements
- Strong, multi-year, hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services
- Especially IAM, Organizations, multiple account architectures, networking, and security functions.
- Terraform in an enterprise environment, module creation and use
- Authoring scripts with Bash, PowerShell, and Python
- Usage of Git and source control procedures
- Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) systems such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, and governance concepts
- Prior experience building automation, internal tooling, or platform services
- Proficient in Docker and Containerization, Kubernetes a plus
- Understand Internet networking and WAFs such as Cloudflare
- Ability to work on several work streams with excellent time management
- Able to formulate and execute solutions to take into consideration the needs of multiple stakeholders
- A positive, constructive approach with an emphasis on collaboration and good execution
- Able to mentor and lead other members of the team
