Key responsibilities & impact

Designing, developing, and maintaining our Android SDK, ensuring optimal performance, security, and usability
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers
Addressing the challenges of compatibility and performance across a wide range of devices, from low-end to high-end models
Implementing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development, testing, and release cycles
Conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating best practices and innovative solutions into our SDK
Proactively identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks to ensure the highest levels of reliability and stability
Contributing to the strategic direction of our Android development efforts, driving innovation and helping shape the future of Veriff's products and services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Senior Android Developer, with a strong track record in developing and maintaining high-quality Android SDKs or applications
Expertise in Android frameworks, Kotlin, and Java, as well as familiarity with RESTful APIs and their integration into Android applications
Experience with Android testing frameworks, tools and processes, including unit, integration and performance tests
Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices, with experience in optimising performance across various devices
Excellent problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset that fosters effective teamwork and continuous improvement
