About the role
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Android SDK, focusing on performance, security, and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers
- Support efforts to ensure compatibility across a variety of Android devices (low-end to high-end)
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality
- Assist in debugging issues and resolving performance bottlenecks
- Stay up to date with Android development best practices and emerging technologies
- Contribute to improving development workflows, including testing and release processes
Requirements
- Experience as an Android Developer with hands-on work in Kotlin and/or Java
- Familiarity with Android frameworks and building mobile applications or SDK features
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration
- Experience with testing (unit or integration) and debugging
- Understanding of mobile app architecture and best practices (e.g. MVVM, clean architecture – exposure is enough)
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
