About the role

  • The Engineering team builds the software powering Veriff; we're cracking the online identity crisis in a scalable way, deploying excellence to keep Veriff on the cusp of innovation.\n
  • The End User Platform team owns the SDKs that capture critical identity verification data while providing a frictionless user experience.\n
  • As a Senior Frontend Engineer in our Product Platform team, you will architect the future of web-based identity verification.\n
  • Building backend-driven UIs, deploying ML models on the client, and creating reusable platform components.\n
  • We need problem solvers who can balance performance, security, and user experience while handling millions of verifications across diverse browsers and devices.\n
  • Build Platform-Scale Components: Design reusable, configurable UI components and SDK modules that enable backend-driven flow orchestration and reduce manual configuration overhead.\n
  • Deploy Intelligence at the Edge: Implement and optimize ML detection models directly in the browser for real-time feedback on document quality, liveness detection, and fraud signals, reducing latency and backend costs.\n
  • Master Media Capture: Leverage WebRTC, MediaStream APIs, and WebSockets to create seamless, high-quality media capture experiences across diverse browser environments and device capabilities.\n
  • Drive Analytical Excellence: Apply data-driven thinking to optimize conversion rates, reduce capture failures, and improve first-time-right rates through telemetry and performance monitoring.\n
  • Own End-to-End Delivery: Take responsibility for features from concept to production, collaborating with other teams and verticals to ensure system coherence.\n
  • Platformize for Scale: Transform custom solutions into configurable, self-service capabilities that product teams can leverage without engineering intervention.\n
