About the role
- Lead and manage the application development teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Client Management, and product configuration, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality applications/client programs
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment and ongoing management
- Provide operational management for activities including budgeting, recruiting, vendor management, mentoring, expectation/objective setting, and performance evaluation
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
- Develop, implement and improve application development strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in application development to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in application development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Good understanding or experience in Business Process Automation (BPA) and/or Customer Data Platform solutions, like Solimar and Camunda, is a plus
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
