About the role
- Lead and oversee daily operations at the New York hub, ensuring a high standard across building maintenance, repairs, mailroom, access, and general services.
- Own the employee experience on site, managing space activations, food programs, vendor performance, and event support to ensure everything runs smoothly and aligns with Vercel culture.
- Proactively partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, Legal, and Finance, to coordinate services and streamline processes.
- Partner with broader Workplace team to own components of and drive larger projects like future office buildouts and moves.
- Provide remote support to other office locations in London and Berlin.
- Support our global, company-wide Workplace programs by contributing to team OKRs/KPIs and driving assigned special projects (i.e. sourcing and vetting new Workplace vendors, helping launch new Workplace programs).
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in workplace operations or office management
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects; you’re an independent worker who can operate in ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on collaboration, service, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience managing office logistics, coordinating with vendors, and supporting events or onsite experiences.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
