About the role
- Own end-to-end implementations with enterprise customers, from kickoff through production, working through whatever obstacles come up along the way.
- Understand customer pain points deeply and translate them into concrete product solutions, feeding signal back to engineering and product teams.
- Build internal tools and processes that drive efficiency and scalability across the FDE function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including GTM, product, and core engineering to deliver large-scale projects with cross-team dependencies.
- Run on-site workshops, discovery sessions, and technical enablement with enterprise customers.
- Maintain and operate solutions at high scale, ensuring the highest levels of security and reliability for customer deployments.
- Implement identity synchronization and lifecycle management solutions using SCIM, SSO, SAML, and other enterprise standards.

- Build and maintain high-quality software using TypeScript, Next.js, React, and REST APIs, including direct contributions to the v0 codebase.
- Be a daily practitioner of AI-assisted development: v0, Cursor, Claude, Codex, and whatever comes next.
Requirements
- Power user of AI coding tools. You use v0, Cursor, Claude, Codex, or equivalent daily and have a current, working understanding of the AI coding landscape: agents, MCP, context management, local vs. remote execution.
- Proficient in Next.js, React, and TypeScript. You're comfortable working directly in a production codebase.
- Experience in a GTM-adjacent engineering role, whether as a Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar. You know how to navigate a sales cycle without losing your technical integrity.
- Experience working directly with enterprise customers: running discovery, building trust, re-engaging at-risk accounts, and finding internal champions.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites regularly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment.
- Bonus points: Experience with enterprise integration work: Accounts: SSO, account provisioning, RBAC configuration and implementation. Relationship building: cultivating internal champions, running on-site workshops, re-engaging at-risk customers. Security and Legal: translating security requirements, navigating procurement and legal review processes. Data chops. Comfortable writing SQL to understand customer health, usage trends, and spot expansion opportunities. Familiarity with access control models like RBAC, ABAC, and ReBAC. Background in cloud infrastructure and distributed systems (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform). Strong knowledge of security architecture: LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
